A sequence of anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian messages have been despatched from Ford Motor Co.’s account on the X social media platform on Monday earlier than being deleted, sparking hypothesis over the supply of the posts.
The corporate says its account was “briefly compromised.”

The now-deleted messages despatched from Ford’s deal with included posts stating, “Israel is a terrorist state,” “Free Palestine” and “ALL EYES ON GAZA.”
A number of X customers wrote that it appeared Ford’s account had been hacked, together with pro-Israel Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., who stated the automaker’s account “should have been hacked by the Free Palestine motion.”

When reached for remark, Ford instructed FOX Enterprise in an announcement, “Our X account was briefly compromised and the earlier three posts weren’t licensed or posted by Ford. We’re investigating the problem.”
