NASA’s Goddard House Flight Heart in Greenbelt, Maryland, and Columbia College in New York, New York, enacted a collaborative House Act Settlement to advance analysis and schooling alternatives throughout a signing ceremony Monday, Dec. 16, at Goddard.
Presiding over the ceremony had been Dr. Christa Peters-Lidard, director of Goddard’s Sciences and Exploration directorate, and Dr Jeannette Wing, government vice chairman for analysis and professor of pc science at Columbia College.
Columbia College has been a trusted companion for a few years and has an extended historical past of interactions with Goddard House Flight Heart. Notably, the Goddard Institute for House Research (GISS) is situated at Columbia College serving as a laboratory in Goddard’s Earth Sciences Division and is affiliated with the Columbia Local weather College and College of Engineering and Utilized Science.
The settlement expands NASA’s CU partnership to Goddard’s Greenbelt campus and can be centered round collaborative analysis, schooling, know-how improvement, workforce improvement, science and engineering exchanges, utilized science, business in addition to nonprofit analysis together with know-how infusion.
