Asus is expected to introduce its new lineup of gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 9, on November 19.
On November 19, Asus is anticipated to unveil the ROG Phone 9, the latest model in its gaming smartphone series. Even though the specifications of the phones have already been leaked quite a bit, this one is consistent with what we already know about the flagships.
The specifications sheets for the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro, as well as details regarding the colors and contents of the retail box, were obtained by the people at YTECHB.
The most crucial specifications, such as the processor and display, are shared by the two flagships despite their variances. The size of the battery, which might be another factor separating the two devices, is the only item absent from the specs sheet.
ROG Phone 9 and Phone 9 Pro
- Display: 6.78-inch PMOLED, 2448 x 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
- GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 830
- Memory: 12 GB RAM or 16 GB RAM / 512 GB internal storage
- Main camera: 50-megapixel
- Front camera: 32-megapixel
- OS: Android 15
The Pro edition has 16 GB of RAM, but the vanilla ROG Phone 9 has “only” 12 GB, as you have undoubtedly already surmised. The 50-megapixel primary sensors on both phones are the only camera specifications mentioned. According to the rumor, the ROG Phone 9 Pro has dimensions of 163.77 x 76.78 x 8.9 mm. Additionally, both phones will come pre-installed with Android 15.
Speaking of which, the ROG Phone 9 Pro comes with a 65W charging adaptor, an AeroActive Cooler X Pro, a USB-C to USB-C connector, an Aero Case, and a tool for removing the SIM card. Regretfully, the vanilla model only includes a USB-C to USB-C connector, a transparent casing, and a tool for removing the SIM card.
Finally, it is said that both phones include a 3.5mm audio connector, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity. Additionally, they will be offered in two distinct hues: Phantom Black and Storm White.
