With a launch discount, a new T-Mobile accessory that rivals Apple quietly enters shops.

The SyncUP TRACKER 2 will give you the peace of mind AirTags can’t.

An items tracker can soothe your stress by keeping track of your belongings, regardless matter whether you are prone to forgetting where you put anything crucial or simply worrying about misplacing your bags. Although Bluetooth-based finders like Apple’s AirTag or Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag are always an option, T-Mobile’s product might be a better choice for people who travel frequently. The business has released an updated version of SyncUP TRACKER.

The new accessory, known as the SyncUP TRACKER 2, is a slight improvement over the original model, which was first made available in 2021. Like its predecessor, it is built by TCL and has 2.4 GHz WiFi and LTE network connectivity.

The battery life has been extended from seven days to ten days. A charging dock is no longer required because the gadget supports USB-C charging, and the design has been somewhat modified. You won’t need to download the Tracker app because it integrates with the T-Life app.

T-Mobile’s SyncUP Tracker 2 has a slight advantage over the AirTag because it uses the company’s network and GPS to locate objects instead of Bluetooth. The AirTag might not be able to broadcast its position when it’s in a remote location and there aren’t any iOS devices nearby to send a signal to Apple’s Find My network.

The drawback is that the AirTag’s battery life, which may last up to a year on a single charge, is superior to this cellular device’s.

You have to pay a monthly subscription to keep the SyncUP TRACKER 2 operational because it depends on T-Mobile’s network. Given that the AirTag costs $29 and doesn’t require any kind of monthly subscription, this might be a deal breaker.

T-Mobile has released a new version of the product because the SyncUP TRACKER is a better choice for some users because the AirTag might not always function effectively due to Bluetooth constraints. T-Mobile wouldn’t bother with a new version if it wasn’t selling well.

The SyncUP TRACKER 2 is available for free from T-Mobile, however, using the company’s network costs $5 per month. According to the Mobile Report, the carrier is about to launch a promotion that will lower the monthly price to $3. For every account you have, you will be able to purchase 12 trackers.
